According to the API it should be possible to use multiple threads on the same Environment as long as they use different Interpreters created using Environment#createInterpreter() http://www.gnu.org/software/gnuprologjava/api/gnu/prolog/vm/Environment.html#createInterpreter()

Unfortunately this results in deadlock in a fairly short period of time when running the inria tests in parallel with 4 threads. I suspect there are multiple flaws which result in this happening.

Current efforts to fix this bug are hampered by the lack of a good method for debugging them.
