Hi, Sorry for the delay, I'd totally forgotten about this.

I use Debian unstable. The extra content was always the same (if I remember correctly it seemed to be a portion of the wrapped text being duplicated).

However, I tried repeating this recently with the same file on the same machine and the bug didn't manifest itself. I think it's fair to consider this to be fixed. Thanks for your work.

Hello, thank you for the bug report. Hmm, not seeing this at least at first glance when using -r 72 and justifying. Can you let me know which OS (and distribution if using Linux) you're using? Also can you let me know if the extra content is always the same when it appears or whether it appears to be random? Thanks much!

When justifying certain lines (using ^J, no softwrap) extra content is inserted. Attached is a file in which this happens and I've noticed it at least one other time. Problem occurs for me whether tex syntax highlighting is enabled or not. I'm using nano 2.2.4.
