We should probably do this by adding a /ENCODING subcommand to the FILE HANDLE command.

Your email contact is more likely to get results which serve his/her purpose if he/she posts some small examples of the kind of data he/she is trying to import.

Re. Spanish characters, version 0.7.4 recognized them properly in an already created dataset, but didn't do it when I imported delimited data. Any chance you can take a look on this?
