As of "Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06" (Debian), screen freezes when the rxvt is resized to less than 2 lines height.
(Resizing to such small sizes can accidentally happen with tiling window managers, e.g., xmonad)

Config includes "hardstatus alwayslastline".

Closing the window and trying to reattach with "screen -r" results in a message about dead sessions being printed -- one has to wipe the resized session.
