Mon 12 Apr 2010 03:25:31 AM UTC, comment #2: I appear to be replicating this problem even with the patch below. OS is stock Ubuntu Server 9.10 x64 (grub-pc 1.97~beta4-1ubuntu4.1). Hardware is a HP Proliant DL140 with no floppy (and no way to add a floppy, or disable it in BIOS).
