The new version of the GormMatrixAttributesInspector patch. The old one adjusted the cell size only when the user pushes the steppers. The new version adjusts the cell size when the user changes values of fields too.

All control inspectors had equal heights. My attachment changes the height of GormMatrixAttributesInspector (and breaks those equality). So there is neediness of adjusting of the inspector panel height after every selection changing. I have attached the patch to compute the difference and change the inspector panel height accodingly.

I have added to the gorm file the dimensions form with numbers of rows/columns and the corresponding code to reflect changes within the gorm file.

The problem is just that this is
a) not obvious
b) depending on your keyboard may or may not work
(when writing the bug report I was using my Mac laptop which has just a single alt key and that was captured by the window manager).

There doesn't need to be a "template" for NSMatrix. A matrix is made by holding (for me) right-alt and shift while dragging.

Ooops, that was version r29448, of course. Somehow I picked up a wrong revision number in Emacs :-(

I have replaced the two radio buttons in the controls palette by a NSMatrix in r29305.

Sun 17 Jan 2010 01:21:20 PM UTC, original submission:

The controls palette lacks a template for NSMatrix. Note that in Apple's IB, the two radio buttons really are a matrix with two radio button cells.

In addition, the NSMatrix inspector does not allow changing the number of rows and columns of a matrix (neither does the NSForm inspector, by the way).
