Is this still true? My denemo (fluidsynth) always opens MIDI in if the keyboard is switched on at startup.

Midi input is only enacted at the momemt, when the user enables midi input in the menu "Input."
That means that Denemo starts without an input.

I ask that this be reconsidered, and when Denemo opens, the midi input port is on by default, as for output ports.

Where the choice can be made by the user is to enable midi input in the Input menu as normal, but inside Denemo, so to speak, the input port is ready and waiting, and the command merely seeks to connect internal midi input, to the "on all the time' input port.
