If GRUB is started with hidden cursor it has no reference cursor shape. I added additional statement to use a predefined cursor shape if original one corresponds to a hidden cursor. If problem persists please reopen the bug

The cursor is missing at the command line or editing menu entry when core.img is manually loaded from grub legacy.

Steps to reproduce:

I. Boot from grub legacy and get to grub> prompt

II. load core.img as a kernel and boot

     grub> kernel /boot/grub/core.img
     grub> boot

III. Try editing anything

Result: cursor is missing
