I have found how to provoke this bug. If I set a file in 3/4 time as my default template, then the third note entered becomes the second.
I have debugged this as far as establishing that the bug has occurred once the second note is entered. At that point the current object should be the second note, but it is still the first, so the third note causes an insert, not an append. Deleting and re-starting is the work around.

You do not mention version or operating system, I think I have seen this bug at one time, but it is not present in the current version in git. A release is due shortly if you are on windows and cannot build from git.

Hello,

When I start denemo and i type "c d e f", the first note (c) doesn´t stay in the first position, but it is "pushed forward" by the subsequent notes so the sequence comes out to be "d e f c".
