Greetings, and thanks for your report.  This is now fixed in git, Version_2_6_11pre, soon to be merged with master.

Hello,
some Maxima users have reported that Maxima's timedate() which uses get-decoded-time doesn't work properly. A closer look shows that get-decoded-time doesn't return correct times especially it doesn't recognize the activity of a daylight saving time and doesn't find the correct time zone. Maxima uses gcl 2.6.8pre from cvs (information due to Robert Dodier) but this problem can also be observed with gcl 2.6.7 itself.
