At least 4.3.8 makes it through the testsuite with no failures on cygwin, so I'm closing this.

Drat, I think it was just a typo.  Please try the attached patch.

Reopening; the fix in 4.3.4 isn't complete.  My dejagnu fu is very weak, so I don't know how to go about fixing this, but in an effort to skip the test, the testsuite crashes instead.

Running /home/eblake/findutils-4.3.4-1/src/findutils-4.3.4/find/testsuite/find.gnu/access.exp ...
WARNING: You have superuser privileges, skipping this test.
ERROR: (DejaGnu) proc "3 untested {skipping this test because you have superuser privileges}" does not exist.
The error code is NONE

The testsuite has a bug when run as root or other user with extra privileges:

Running /home/eblake/findutils/find/testsuite/find.gnu/access.exp ...

I got the above failure by running the testsuite under cygwin under an Administrator account, where access() correctly reports that all files are readable regardless of the stat mode because of my extra privileges as an Administrator.

The test should first check whether the user can read and/or write a file that has been chmod'd to 000, and skip the test, rather than declaring a failure, since access() is not necessarily based on stat() information.
