GCL 2.6.7 on Linux: GCL is happy enough to compute floating point infinity and not-a-number, but then it complains "Can't print a non-number" if an attempt is made to display the result.

e.g.

>(* 2 most-positive-double-float)

Error in SYSTEM:TOP-LEVEL [or a callee]: Can't print a non-number.

>(* 2 most-negative-double-float)

Error in SYSTEM:TOP-LEVEL [or a callee]: Can't print a non-number.

>(- (* 2 most-positive-double-float) (* 2 most-positive-double-float))

Error in SYSTEM:TOP-LEVEL [or a callee]: Can't print a non-number.

I didn't check GCL's treatment of signed zero (dunno how to get GCL to compute a signed zero).
