Mon 10 Sep 2007 07:06:17 AM UTC, comment #2: I don't have any real problem. The thing was I used to set PKG_CONFIG_PATH in the environment of the call to ./configure, which correctly found the stuff. Then, when some of the automake files changed, 'make' triggered run of ./confg.status, which in turn failed to remember that PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment (maybe the problem would be in config.status creation itself, in that it doesn't dump the environment). Wed 23 Aug 2006 09:42:43 PM UTC, original submission: This is just a guess, but when automake files are changed, a 'make' run (under maintainer mode) fails to use previous values for some stuff, so I guess it's pkg-config or --enable-sound and friends not being cached. A quick look at macros seems to confirm the former.	Sandro Santilli <strk>
